Sinjin Drowning is a Youtube channel created on Feburary 7, 2017 by siblings Weston Koury & Kalynn Koury. They made their debut on November 26, 2018 with a video titled "#1 - Lying To Millions Of Teen Followers". Their channel name was based on an episode of the Nickelodeon show Victorious, particularly a clip where the character named Sinjin Van Cleef seemingly drowns in a kiddie pool. The duo were born in Greensboro, North Carolina and currently live in New York City.

My introduction to Sinjin Drowning was around July 2023 when I saw a clip on Tiktok where they name a puffle from Club Penguin, "d1cknb@lls". From then on, I started binge watching all of their videos and falling in love with their content, humor and personalities! I never considered myself a big fan of youtubers or celebrities in general but I have to say I've got such a soft spot for them. I haven't been a fan for very long but their impression on me will definitely last.

My personal favorite videos from them are making a viral tiktok song in 20 minutes, Making a Viral Tiktok Song in One Hour, their entire Minecraft and MovieStarPlanet series' and honestly so many more. If I had to recommend their videos to a friend, I'd tell them to watch their 2019-2020 era since their newer videos have kind of lost their early years charm in my opinion.

Most of their appeal comes from how creative they are with their endless references, even when you don't understand them. They are so effortlessly witty and entertaining, no matter what game they're playing or the subject of their videos might be. You can't help but envy but also relate to their sibling dynamic. No doubt my favorite youtubers ever!
