Sinjin Drowning is a Youtube channel that was created on February 7, 2017 by siblings Weston and Kalynn Koury from Greensboro, North Carolina.

The inspiration behind the name was frpm a scene in an episode of the Nickelodeon show Victorious where the character Sinjin Van Cleef is shown face down in a kiddie pool.

My introduction to Sinjin Drowning was around July 2023 when I saw a super funny clip on Tiktok where they name a puffle from Club Penguin, "d1cknb@lls". From then on, I started binge watching all of their videos and falling in love with their humor and personalities. I've never considered myself a big fan of youtubers or internet celebrities in general, but I've developed a soft spot for them and their impression on me is one that will definitely last.

My personal favorite videos from them are making a viral tiktok song in 20 minutes, Making a Viral Tiktok Song in One Hour, their entire Minecraft and MovieStarPlanet series and so many more. In my opinion, their best eras were 2019-2020 and 2023-2024 where it's hard to find a video that doesn't make me laugh a bunch. The vibes have changed a bit in their newer videos, but they still have their good moments and I watch them from time to time.

The younger brother and older sister dynamic between the two is really entertaining and you can't help but admire how close they are. It's also really cool to see people my age who grew up with the same internet that I did, watching the same youtubers, to eventually creating their own channel.
